Solo Exhibition Al Mahata Gallery Ramallah, Palestine 2011, ‘Counterpoint’ Exhibition Club Row Gallery London 2011. 4 projection installation. Childhood stories from Palestinians living in Palestine and Palestinians living in London told to their ‘children’ and simultaneously retold - in translation - to the audience. The narratives are a counter to person-as-victim, presenting celebrations, mischief, erotica, love. The installation talks of a journey through a collection of childhood stories: personal histories passed on from one generation to another into the future, a form of inheritance, an active transmission of significant details to our less “visible” identity.
